Apparently, underneath the beautiful grounds and buildings of the Beyeler Foundation it was once a cat museum. Rumor says that the two houses literally overlap and that there is a secret passage that connects these two universes. And it is now, after a quarter of a century of the existence of one of the most famous institutions dedicated to Modern art, that the cats, the nature, the animals of the world want to reappear to be even more present in the future of it all. For this reason, we have invented a program that reunites art, pieces of history, poetry, music, performance and dance to address the subjects we believe art is able to protect and cherish. Art is an energy, a device that was invented to give space. We should inhabit this space in peace, in coexistence with nature, in a diverse understanding of the community, in care, in love, in praise of culture.  This is what an anniversary means, a fête.

Students and graduate students of the Institute Art Gender Nature HGK, FHNW have created a program to honor the art and the audience of the Beyeler Foundation.. Some special guests from the Neue Musik of the Musik Akademie of the FHNW will be also part of program.

The nights themselves: every night is conceived like a micro performance festival. Poetry reading, conversations, music and live performances revolved upon the questions that made art so important for life. It is a continuos program that takes the form of short sketches that allow you to stay for a while, a longer while or a very long while with us. Young artists from the Institute Art Gender Nature took upon themselves the task of celebrating the autumn nights with you, creating special encounter based on the energy of the live arts —voice, music, dance.
